Welcome Mr. Salow
The Addison Community Schools Board of Education is pleased to introduce Mr. Scott Salow as the next Superintendent effective July 1, 2024.
We look forward to Mr. Salow's leadership to execute our mission to provide a well-balanced curriculum and learning environment, supplemented by enriching experiences in order for all learners to be successful. We would like to thank the community for their participation and feedback in the process and for the passion demonstrated for our students and district.
Mr. Salow comes to the district with 30 years of experience in education. His 21 years of administrative experience include being the Superintendent of Summerfield Schools and Homer Community Schools respectively. Prior to his superintendent roles, he also served as a Principal and an Elementary and Middle School Teacher at Homer Schools. Mr. Salow received his Masters in Education Leadership from Walden University and a Bachelors from Spring Arbor College. He is also a decorated coach with many accolades.
Mr. Salow looks forward to being closed to home, building relationships and serving our students, staff, community and board. During Mr. Salow's interview he talked about the energy needed to boil water to create steam which can power a train. FIRE UP and GO PANTHERS!
