Superintendent Search
The Board of Education is searching for the next Superintendent of Addison Community Schools. The following timeline has been set:
1. Open Application Window: The application window will open April 22, 2024 and close May 17,2024 at 4:00pm
2. Seek Community Input: May 7, 2024 at 6:00pm Michigan Leadership Institue (MLI) will conduct a focus group with community members to gather input to build the Superintendent profile. This meeting will take place in the secondary media center. Community members can also fill out the Community Feedback Survey.
3. First-Round Interviews: The Board of Education will make a selection of candidates at the regularly scheduled board meeting on May 20, 2024 at 5:00 pm. First-round interviews will take place May 29,2024 and May 30,2024 at 6:00pm
4. Second-Round Interviews and Site Visit: June 3, 2024 candidates will tour the school district during the school day and interviews will begin at 5:00pm with an alternate date of June 4, 2024 if needed. The final date and time will be confirmed when candidates have been selected.
5. Select Superintendent: The Board of Education hopes to have a new superintendent selected by the first week in June.

The Board of Education will consider all community feedback as we review applicants and determine which candidates will be the best fit for Addison.
